Hey
slappy. Is this good?
Saturday Showdown!
The lights are on bright as fireworks shoot in every direction as the song "Hero" by Skillet plays over the speakers and the 18,500+ fans in attendance at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania roars with anticipation as every firework goes off and the camera cuts to a front angle of our two commentators.
Lovell: Hello everyone I'm Jack Lovell along with my colleague and business partner, Chris Smith, live from the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Smith: Yes and welcome to this installment of RHCW Saturday Showdown! What a fitting place to be tonight right down from the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, as tonight we have 5 hardcore matches, and one tag match!
Lovell: Yes sir. First it's the new star Drake Younger, vs the man who had won the title almost 2 years ago, Jeff Hardy, and Chris, let me tell ya, this will NOT be a wrestling match.
Smith: You're right Jack, this will be a battle.
Drake Youngers theme "Drake n' Bake" plays over the speakers as the fans erupt in a frenzy. Drake younger comes out in grey shorts and carrying a metal trash can full of goodies. He continues down the ramp, giving high fives and climbing into the ring and setting the can down, and grabbing a kendo stick from the load of garbage and awaits Jeff Hardy.
"No More Words" plays as the fans even go louder for Jeff. He struts out to the ring, carrying a steel chair, and charging the ring. He slides in and the match is underway with a takedown by Jeff Hardy.
Hardy punches at the sides of Drake Younger before getting pushed off. Younger gets up and grabs his dropped kendo stick and swings it across the back of Jeff Hardy.
Lovell: Good god that sickening crack!
Hardy howls in pain as he drops to his knees and Younger gives a sharp dropkick to the back of the skull. Hardy hit the mat face first hard and rolls quickly to the outside. Younger grabs a chair and climbs the corner before diving off and nailing Hardy hard across the top of the skull, wrapping the chair around it as the fans nearby immediately "Ohh!" And "Ahh!" As Hardy falls to his back.
Smith: Oh my god!
Lovell: He's out. Call Motel 6 and see if they'll leave a light on for him.
Younger stands up and raises the chair up to the fans delight. He goes over to the downed Hardy and picks him up by his hair and rams him head first into the ring post, knocking Hardy back down again.
Smith: One has to wonder how Jeff Hardy's condition is after the chair hit just a minute ago.
Lovell: I'll tell you this Chris, he's not 100%.
Younger grabs Hardy again and slams his face into the apron, whipping Hardy's face back quickly. Younger drags Hardy to the ramp area and gives him a kick to the gut, and places Hardy's head between his legs, and picks him up for a power bomb, but Hardy rolls over Younger and lands behind him, and as soon as Younger turns around he is met with a flurry of fist before taking a knee to gut, and Hardy bends down where his head is inbetween Younger's legs again and gives him a back body drop, making a metallic clang as Younger's body hits the cold metal.
Smith: And the unforgiving steel wins again as Drake Younger is lifted up and over for a de-habilitating move.
Younger writhes in pain as Hardy takes a quick breather, reaching underneath the ring to grab a steel chair with the fans cheering loudly. He turns around to the now standing Drake Younger and nails him hard across the back, making him drop to his knees, before hitting him once across the skull for good measure.
Lovell: And now Younger gets a taste of that steel chair.
Smith: And that's how you get in control.
Younger lays on his face, kicking his legs as Hardy throws the chair down. He bends down and picks up a big 8x4 piece of the metal run way and drags it rather awkwardly to the other side of the ring and sets it up between the ring and the guardrails, the fans cheering and eating this up as he comes back to Younger and delivers a huge kick to the gut yet again, and wraps his arms around his head for what looks like a DDT, but Younger instead grabs Hardy's leg and flips him over in a variation of the T-Bone suplex. Hardy lands on the back of his head more than he does his back, and he shows the results as after landing he rolls over to hold his head as the fans cheer in awe and amazement.
Smith: And Hardy's head bounces off that steel ramp hard.
Lovell: Yeah but Chris look at Drake! He landed hard on the steel as well.
Younger starts to get up as well as Hardy. They start to duke it out, throwing rights at each other, with Hardy getting the upper hand, but Younger gives a punch to the stomach before it gets too out of his control, and pulls Hardy in and wraps his arms around him, pulling him closer to the gaping hole from where Hardy took that steel plate, and hits a release belly to belly suplex, sending Jeff Hardy crashing to the concrete under the ramp and out of sight.
Lovell: Where the hell did he go?
Smith: Holy sh*t, Jack. I think he hit the concrete under the entrance ramp!
The fans start chanting "Holy sh*t!" Over and over as Younger lays on the ramp taking a small breather as the camera shows Jeff Hardy about 3 feet under the ramp laying on concrete as the cheers continue on.
Lovell: You were right Chris! What a fall!
Younger stands up and looks down the hole at Jeff Hardy and takes about 5 steps back before running and diving into the hole, doing a diving Senton to the downed Hardy and the fans scream in unison and start the chants back up.
Smith: Drake Younger putting his body in harms way dives to the downed Jeff Hardy, what else will we see?
After a few moments Younger finally crawls out to a standing ovation as he bends back down to pull Hardy up on the ramp for a pin attempt.
1.....2....
Kickout by Jeff Hardy!
Lovell: I can't believe Jeff kicked out of that!
Smith: He wants another shot at CM Punk, and personally, I can't blame him.
Younger grabs Hardy and pulls him to the ring and rolls him in, and stands on the apron, waiting for him to stand. When he does Younger springboards up and dives into a cross body and another pin attempt.
1.....2....
Kickout! Drake Younger stands up and grabs the trash can and dumps ever thing inside into the canvas. A lamp, a barbwire bat, a 2x4, a VCR (Who uses those anymore?) a picture frame, a few empty beer bottles, and a small 1 foot tall trophy. He grabs the lamp and waits for Jeff to stand back up, and when he does he swings for the fences, but Jeff ducks it. He grabs the 2x4 and swings it around into the ribs of Drake Younger, doubling him over and making him drop the lamp. Hardy throws the 2x4 out of the ring and grabs the lamp now and uses one hand to pick Younger's chin up, looking him in the eyes before clocking him hard over the top of the forehead of Drake Younger, shattering the glass into millions of pieces, and having Drake fall to his face.
Smith: Oh good god!
Lovell: That is thick glass, it doesn't break easy, and Jeff just blew it up over Drake's skull!
Younger now has a bright crimson flow of blood now, streaming down his head and onto the canvas, staining it a dull red color as he slowly starts to stand. Hardy grabs the VCR now and watches as Younger climbs slowly to a vertical position with the blood now flowing onto his face and dripping off his chin onto his chest, turning around into Jeff Hardy swinging the VCR into his head, making a loud crack and a physical crack in the VCR and staining it a red as well as the fans cheer along Jeff Hardy.
Lovell: That VCR has to hurt. It's very hard plastic with a bunch of mechanical do-hickies inside.
Smith: Of course it hurt!
Younger falls straight to his back as Hardy falls to a pin.
1.....2....
And Younger powers out, forcing Hardy off. Jeff climbs to his feet and grabs the picture frame now, and waits for Drake to stand. As soon as he does Hardy swings at his forehead but gets air instead, as Younger swings around and delivers a dropkick to the back of Hardy, forcing him down and dropping the picture frame. Younger picks it up now and lifts Hardy's head off the mat and hits him hard across the top of the forehead, shattering the glass and forcing it into Jeff's skull.
Smith: That glass cuts like a razor, I believe Jeff will be wearing a crimson mask soon enough.
Lovell: Would you expect any less of these two?
Younger jumps into the air and double foot stomps Hardy's back. Drake now steps off and picks up Jeff and puts him in a suplex position infront of the trash can, Jeff's blood rolling off his head and onto Drake's forearm. Drake tries for the suplex but gets reversed, and Jeff picks Drake up and hits a sit out face buster onto the trash can, crushing it under Drake. The fans give a loud cheering reaction as Drake rolls off the can and lays face up, blood now in his eyes and covering his whole front.
Smith: And Jeff makes a magnificent comeback!
Lovell: This is what was expected, a physical fight to the death for a chance at the Hardcore title!
Hardy hurries to his feet and picks up Younger and quickly twist his body to hit a Twist of Fate! Younger bounces off the canvas and rolls to onto the steel panel. The fans are on their feet as Hardy comes to the ropes and does a springboard Senton to Younger, before pinning him quickly.
1.....2.....
And the refs hand was so close to 3 the fans even chanted it before Younger kicked out!
Smith: WHAT?
Lovell: This is great Chris!
The fans start chanting "This is awesome!" As Hardy sits up, bewildered. He slowly climbs to his feet and looks out to the crowd, and they cheer loudly for him as he throws his hand gesture up in the air for them all to see before starting the climb up the turnbuckles, but before he can get there Younger jumps to his feet and runs up behind him and clubs him in the back a few times before bending down and hooking Jeff's arms before straightening up with the fans cheering loudly before jumping back and hitting Drake's Landing on the steel grating, having Jeff roll off the steel with the fans chanting "Holy Sh*t!"
Smith: OH MY GOD!
Lovell: Drakes Landing!
Drake takes a much needed breather before rolling off and pinning Jeff Hardy.
1.....2.....3!
Smith: Holy sh*t. That was fantastic.
Lovell: That was quite a way to set the tone for this evening.
"Drake n' Bake" is interrupted by Killswitch Engage's "This Fire Burns" as some of the fans cheer but most boo as CM Punk comes out wearing the RHCW Hardcore title. He walks to the ring, pointing out the hole in the ramp and giving a clap of approval as he continues on his way.
Smith: Why is this guy ruining the party?
Lovell: He IS the Hardcore champion Chris.
Smith: Yeah but Drake deserves this, not to get cut off by CM Punk!
Punk climbs into the ring and looks at Drake Younger who is now in the ring, still bleeding profusely as medical staff start to come to help Jeff on the outside, but the main focus is on Younger and Punk.
CM Punk smiles in approval at Younger before extending his hand. Drake shakes his hand but is instead pulled into CM Punk for a Go To Sleep.
Smith: Come on now. He has had a grueling match with Jeff Hardy and now he gets beat up by CM Punk?
Lovell: Lust. It does things to you.
The fans boo CM Punk as he smiles on at Drake Younger laying down at his feet and ask for a mic.
CM Punk: I stand before you as Hardcore Champion, and I demand you to shut your mouths and let me speak.
Of course the fans don't and boo extremely loud, but CM Punk continues anyway.
CM Punk: Drake I look down upon your mangled and broken body as you lay in a pool of your own blood and other bodily fluids, and I just feel so terrible for you sir. I hate this idea that you yourself as well as everyone around the world hearing this that you are the best independent wrestler that has came up on the scene, but really Drake, nothing could be further from the truth. I am the best independent turned global wrestler that has ever set foot in a wrestling ring whether it be with ropes, barbwire, or even 6 sides of it, I am the best. I am the greatest and nothing can change that. You all want to gravitate towards the main stream such as Drake Younger because that's what you're taught to believe, just like you're taught to believe that people like myself with the tattoos covering their whole body are the devils spawn, but you fail to look into the mirror and see the people who drink the liquor and who smoke the joints, those are the terrible people. I am straight edge, and you can admit to yourself now and be that one step closer to being clean like me by saying "I am that person, and Lord CM Punk, I have sinned." I won't forgive, I won't forget, but I will allow you to live in sobriety, unlike this piece of sh*t.
CM Punk then takes a stomp to Drake Younger, as the fans erupt in loud boos.
CM Punk: Boo me! It fuels my fire! It makes me the best I can be, it makes me ME.
CM Punk lets the fans boo him a little longer before he continues.
CM Punk: Drake Younger when I see you next it's going to be at War To Settle The Score, and I want this moment to be in your brain when the refs hand hits the third and your bell tolls for thee not for me, and I want this to be the pain you feel while you're looking up at me, STILL, Hardcore champion.
With that CM Punk picks Drake Younger up and picks him up on his shoulders in power bomb position and walks over to the ropes and throws him over the ropes onto the steel metal grating inbetween the ring and guardrail, making it bounce and leaving Younger in a world of pain.
Smith: Oh my-
Lovell: That wasn't called for.
Smith: You're damn right it wasn't called for.
CM Punk: I am your Lord, Drake. I will make you humble, no matter that the cost.
CM Punk smiles into the camera and unsnaps the hardcore title from his waist and raises it into the air for everyone to see to a chorus of loud and passionate boos before the camera cuts to the first commercial break.
[commercial break]
Smith: Welcome back ladies and gentleman we have heard that Jeff Hardy is going to have to have a few stitches as well as Drake Younger, and they will both be able to compete next week.
